Export Compliance

At Aurelia Aerospace we go above and beyond existing regulations to ensure our products are a force for good wherever they are being operated. Every day our aircraft operate across the globe, doing everything from delivering medicines in remote communities to efficiently scanning for minerals in the ground, to being a tool used by top academic institutions performing groundbreaking research and development. We are proud of the value our products deliver to communities around the world and take the following actions to ensure our products stay out of the hands of criminal groups, foreign adversaries, and those looking to harm US and allied countries’ national security.

1. End User Verification – Every order that we receive undergoes a screening process to verify the end client and end-use. Any end user who can not demonstrate a legitimate and lawful use for the product will have their order canceled and refunded to safeguard against misuse. In addition, aircraft reported lost or stolen to us are flagged, and blacklisted from service and support, ensuring stolen aircraft do not end up in the hands of those looking to harm.
2. Regulatory Compliance Oversight – We work to ensure we are up to date on the latest regulations relevant to UAV exports in the United States and Mexico, ensuring our export activities are fully compliant with relevant US and Mexican laws. We work to ensure all employees are aware of these regulations and how it impacts their work.
3. Product Classification – All of our aircraft in stock configurations are commercial and classified as EAR99. We work to ensure that any modifications made by our engineering team to meet specific client requirements will not impact this classification.
4. Continuous Improvement – In alignment with our core value of continuous improvement, we strive to work with our distributors, suppliers, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure our internal compliance measures go above and beyond what is required, are replicated across our distribution network, and are always improving.
5. Collaboration With Authorities – We work with law enforcement agencies to ensure suspicious transactions are reported and we work with law enforcement to provide any information requested. This collaborative approach underpins our commitment to global security and the ethical use of our products.

To ensure our products stay out of the hands of foreign adversaries, we do not permit the operation of our aircraft in, or re-exportation of our aircraft to any of the following countries under any circumstance – Belarus, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria.

NDAA Compliance

At Aurelia Aerospace we are committed to complying with the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA). You may request a copy of a certificate to demonstrate NDAA Section 848 compliance for your specific aircraft serial number, listing all critical components along with their source country and manufacturer.

To ensure NDAA compliance across our business we do the following:

1. Supply Chain Diligence – We work to ensure that our business partners, and suppliers all comply with NDAA regulations
2. Ban on Restricted Entities -We do not engage in transactions with entities identified as restricted under the NDAA, including those listed on the U.S. Department of Commerce Entity List, the U.S. Department of Defense List of Communist Chinese Military Companies, and other relevant lists.
3. Regulatory Compliance Oversight – We are committed to monitoring and reviewing all compliance measures to adapt to any changes in NDAA regulations and maintain compliance at all times.
4. Allied Country Sourcing – We strive to source components as often as possible from allied countries to ensure supply chain security.
