Terms of Use, Warranty, and Liability Waiver
Aurelia Technologies Inc. provides its products under the following terms and conditions.
These terms apply to all sales, use, operation, servicing, and handling of Aurelia Technologies Inc. products.
NOTICE
Please review these terms carefully. They include liability waivers, risk assumptions, and warranty limitations.By using, installing, or allowing the use of any Aurelia Technologies Inc. product, you agree to these terms in full.
If you do not agree, you may return the unused product within 30 days of purchase.
1. Terms of Use
All products are sold and delivered subject to your acceptance of these terms without modification. Any changes must be explicitly agreed to in writing by Aurelia Technologies Inc.
2. Exclusive Obligation
Aurelia products are designed for lawful civilian and industrial use only. Use in unlawful or prohibited applications is strictly forbidden. End users are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and international laws and regulations.
3. Use Limitations
You may not modify, copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, resell, or transmit any part of the hardware, software, or documentation without written permission from Aurelia Technologies Inc.
4. Warranty Coverage
Aurelia Technologies Inc. provides a six (6) month limited warranty effective from the date of delivery.This warranty covers premature failure of components due to manufacturing defects and applies to all original hardware components. There is no flight-hour limit during this period.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Pilot error or lack of training
- Crashes, collisions, or hard landings (manual or autonomous)
- Flyaway incidents due to GPS loss, interference, or operator inattention
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., propellers, motors, structural fatigue)
- Weather-related damage (rain, snow, humidity)
- Battery swelling, over-discharge, or improper charging/storage
- Third-party components, accessories, or software
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage during shipping after initial delivery
- Improper maintenance or failure to follow the user manual
Warranty Claims
Faulty components must be returned for inspection. Replacements may be refurbished or new, at Aurelia’s discretion.
5. High-Risk Nature of UAV Operations
Operating UAVs involves inherent risks, including:
- Personal injury or death
- Property or environmental damage
- Equipment loss or malfunction
- Fire, explosion, or hazardous conditions
These risks may occur even when following all instructions. You accept full responsibility for these risks.
6. Assumption of Risk
By purchasing or operating this product, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with:
- Flights in any airspace (controlled/uncontrolled)
- Indoor, outdoor, or BVLOS operations
- Battery charging, storage, and handling
- Use of third-party hardware or software
- Operation near people, vehicles, or infrastructure
- Component failure or environmental factors
- Acts of God (wind, lightning, electromagnetic interference)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any right to bring claims against Aurelia Technologies Inc., its officers, employees, or affiliates for injury, death, loss, or damage caused by use or misuse of this equipment.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Aurelia Technologies Inc. harmless from any third-party claims related to:
- Drone operation
- Personal injury, property damage, or death
- Fire or explosion caused by battery/charger use
- Violation of local or international regulations
8. Battery and Charging Safety
Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries involve risks of fire, explosion, injury, or death even when used properly.
- Use only Aurelia-approved batteries and chargers
- Never leave batteries unattended during charging
- Avoid charging in non-fireproof environments
- Do not use damaged, punctured, or swollen batteries
- Incorrect charger settings or third-party chargers may cause fires
Battery use is entirely at the operator’s risk. Always store batteries safely and keep a fire extinguisher rated for lithium fires nearby.
9. Modifications Prohibited
Any modification voids all warranties and liability protections, including:
- Altering default flight parameters
- Installing unauthorized firmware or hardware
- Disabling safety features
- Adding unapproved components or payloads
10. Insurance Recommendation
Drone operation carries inherent risk of property damage, bodily injury, or third-party liability. Aurelia recommends:
- General liability insurance
- Hull insurance (for drone damage or loss)
- Mission-specific coverage
Users are solely responsible for obtaining adequate insurance before operating the aircraft.
11. Limitation of Liability
Aurelia Technologies Inc.’s maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.We are not liable for:
- Loss of revenue or business
- Personal injury, death, or property damage
- Mission failure or data loss
- Any consequential or incidental damages
12. Mandatory Inspection and Pre-Flight Checks
Inspect all products upon delivery. Do not use if damaged or if packaging is compromised. Always complete the pre-flight checklist before each operation.
13. Entire Agreement
This disclaimer represents the entire agreement regarding product liability and use. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of Nevada, USA. Exclusive jurisdiction for disputes lies in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
15. Right to Amend Terms
Aurelia Technologies Inc. reserves the right to change these terms at any time without notice. The latest version will always be available at:
