Giving Flight To Clients Ideas Worldwide

Ammo Drone Delivery
For NATO
When NATO was looking for a solution to remotely deliver ammunition to its soldiers in the field, they turned to Aurelia Aerospace and our Aurelia X6 Pro V1 with a custom software solution.
When the NATO soldiers in the field press a button on their hats, it sends the GPS coordinates of the soldier to a command station, which dispatches an Aurelia X6 Pro V1 loaded with ammunition to their exact GPS coordinates. Once the Aurelia X6 Pro V1 reaches the soldier’s location, an installed drop mechanism releases the ammunition which the soldier then picks up. This solution ensures speedy and safe support for soldiers in war zones and other critical environments.

Aurelia Aerospace has now developed an even more supreme drone, with more stability and flight time, the Aurelia X6 Pro V2.
Medical Drone Deliveries
In Africa
Sierra Leone, the country was in recent years the epicenter of the Ebola outbreak. Fast forward to 2019, and the new government was eager to look at solutions involving technology to ensure adequate medical care can reach even the most remote parts of the country.
With Aurelia Aerospace and other industry partners, we worked to build a version of our Aurelia X6 Standard drone that could reliably transport small packages of medical goods around the country.
The Aurelia X6 Standard drone was fitted with a custom cargo bay and stationed at the first drone port in West Africa, near the city of Bo. This innovative solution has allowed the Government of Sierra Leone to dramatically improve access to medical care in remote villages across the country.
Not only did we perform our first medical delivery in Sierra Leone, but the drone port was also the location of our first flight of an Aurelia drone using 100% renewable energy. Using a battery charging station powered 100% by solar energy, the Aurelia X6 Standard UAV took flight in January 2020 for the first time powered completely by solar power.

Supporting NASA’s Lunar Docking Test Missions
As NASA prepares for the next era of human space exploration, new systems are needed to support long-term operations in lunar orbit. In 2024, Lockheed Martin began advanced testing of autonomous docking technologies for NASA’s Orion spacecraft—technologies that will enable future spacecraft to connect, transfer crew, and exchange cargo near the Moon.
Aurelia Aerospace was proud to support this effort by supplying custom UAV platforms used in the field during key test phases. Our Aurelia X6 MAX was deployed to provide stable, responsive flight in complex environments, capturing visual data and enabling precise coordination between ground teams and test modules.
The Aurelia X6 MAX was equipped with visual tracking systems, telemetry hardware, and mapping tools to support terrain analysis and autonomous behavior simulations. These flights played a key role in demonstrating the readiness of next-generation spacecraft systems for future lunar missions.
This project reflects Aurelia’s commitment to supporting real-world engineering with field-proven UAV systems. From deep space preparation to precision testing on Earth, our drones continue to serve mission-critical roles at the forefront of innovation.

Surveying For Minerals
In Northern Canada
In Northern Canada, the Aurelia X6 Pro V1 (now replaced by the Aurelia X6 Pro V2) was tasked with a mission. They were flying 6 hours daily, with minimal downtime for battery swaps, all while carrying a large sensor device to detect minerals in the ground.
We worked extensively with the customer to design a mounting device for their sensor and provide a solution offering the reliability and sophistication they needed.
Aurelia Aerospace UAVs are flying in countries worldwide, working on projects from surveying to flying around offshore oil rigs and performing medical deliveries.
Our team of experienced engineers is excited to work on any project, big or small, as long as it is a good fit for our platforms.

Ukraine War Spurs Development of
AI-Powered Anti-GPS Jamming Drones
Bavovna AI developed an autonomous drone navigation system that can operate in GPS-denied and complex electronic warfare environments. The system is currently being tested on the Aurelia X6 Standard drone.
For the project, the Aurelia X6 Standard was used, a small, agile drone that is well-suited for use in GPS-denied environments. It has a long flight time and is equipped with a high-quality camera.
In trials, the Aurelia X6 Standard drone has been able to fly autonomously without remote control, GPS, communications, or other support. It has also been able to collect intelligence and return to base. For further project development, the Aurelia X6 MAX will be used for an even more balanced performance.
